I am agile since late 2000. Before that I was exposed to no process and later to RUP. Neither of them worked out for non trivial projects.

In 2001, eXtreme Programming (XP) came to the rescue. Scrum was added in 2004. This has proven to be the perfect combination. Scrum covers the management side and XP the technical excellence.

Since these days I used agile in many different configurations. On site, off-shore, FDA regulated and most combinations thereof. For me there is absolutely no alternative to this approach and I strongly believe that Scrum can be applied on a company wide level.

I am a CSM since 2005 and in 2008 the ScrumAlliance made me a CSP.

In 2010 I became Europe’s first PSM, PSD (Java) Trainer for Scrum.org where I work closely together with Ken Schwaber. Since 2011 I am also a trainer for PSPO.

Ich bin agil seit Ende 2000. Zuvor war ich keinerlei Prozessen, bzw. später RUP, ausgesetzt; nichts von Beiden funktionierte hinreichend für nicht triviale Projekte.

2001 kam eXtreme Programming (XP) als Rettungsanker und Srcum machte diese Kombination im Jahr 2004 perfekt, wobei Scrum das Projektmanagement abdeckt und XP die technische Güte.

Seit damals habe ich Agil in vielen verschiedenen Konfigurationen verwendet. In-Haus, Off-Shore, im FDA regulierten Umfeld und in unterschiedlichsten Kombinationen. Für mich gibt es absolut keine Alternative zu diesem Vorgehen und ich bin davon überzeugt, dass Scrum firmenübergreifend eingesetzt werden kann.

Seit 2005 bin ich CSM und 2008 machte mich die ScrumAlliance zu einem CSP.

2010 wurde Ich Europa’s erster Trainer für PSM, PSD (Java) bei Scrum.org wo ich eng mit Ken Schwaber zusammenarbeite. Seit 2011 bin ich auch ein Trainer für PSPO.
